Google Search Appliance GB-7007
The GB-7007 is a rack-mounted two-unit appliance that supports from half a million up to ten million documents. Multiple GB-7007 appliances can be used together to support larger document counts, or to enable different departments in an organization to share information securely through a GSA backbone, even if they are geographically dispersed.
The GB-7007 uses a RAID architecture and other redundant components to provide excellent resilience.
Users of the GB-7007 can start small then grow their capacity of documents indexed with time, simply by upgrading the license and without the need to replace or modify hardware. Licensing is sold on a 2 or 3 year term basis.
The GB-7007 replaces a previous appliance, the GB-1001 and provides a faster, more robust architecture than its predecessor.
