Paul is an entrepreneur and patent-holding pioneer in search engine technology. Co-founder of ConQuest Software, Paul was the original architect and inventor of RetrievalWare, a ground-breaking search engine that dominated the enterprise search space in the 1990s, and is today owned by Microsoft (FAST). RetrievalWare was the first commercial product to provide natural language processing, statistical relevance ranking, a distributed parallel architecture, and to use semantic networks to improve search accuracy.
As Search Technologies' Chief Architect, Paul brings 20 years of search engine design experience to help customers make get the most from their search projects.
Paul earned a B.A. in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware, a B.A. in music and a masters degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, and a masters degree in fine arts from New York University.
